Returns & Cancellations

At Arty Magnets, every order is handmade with care, and we want you to love what lands on your fridge. Here is how returns and cancellations work under EU and Irish consumer law.

Cancelling an Order

If you need to cancel or change an order, email us at hello@artymagnets.ie as soon as possible. If your order hasn't yet gone into production or been dispatched, we will cancel it and refund you in full. For custom and personalised items, please be quick — once we have started making your magnet, we may not be able to cancel or modify it.

Custom & Personalised Items

Because personalised magnets (using your uploaded photos, names, or custom designs) are made specially for you, they are exempt from the standard EU 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU. They cannot be returned or refunded for a change of mind. Please double-check your photos, spelling, and details before ordering.

Ready-Made Items

For non-personalised, ready-made designs, you can return your item within 30 days of receiving it for any reason. Items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging. Return postage for a change of mind is paid by the customer. Once we receive the item back, we will refund the purchase price to your original payment method within 14 days.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not as ordered, please let us know promptly so we can put it right. Email us within 5 days of receiving your order with your order number and a clear photo of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund (including original postage), and you usually will not need to post anything back to us.

Orders Lost in Transit

If your order has not arrived within 14 days of dispatch, please get in touch. We will investigate and arrange a replacement or refund for you.

Your Statutory Rights

Independent of the policies above, you retain your statutory consumer rights for goods that are non-conforming — including repair, replacement, or refund — in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/771 and Irish consumer protection law.
