Welcome to Arty Magnets. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website (www.artymagnets.com) and the purchase of our handmade goods. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in Euro (EUR / €). Because we operate as a registered sole trader in Ireland, we do not charge VAT (Value Added Tax) on our products or shipping. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before you complete your checkout.

3. User-Uploaded Content & Copyright

For custom photo magnets, you will be required to upload your own images. By uploading photos or designs to our site, you agree to the following:

• Ownership & Rights: You confirm that you own the rights, or have explicit permission, to use and reproduce the images you upload. You retain all ownership of your photos.
• Licence to Print: You grant us a temporary, non-exclusive right to use, modify (crop/resize), and print these images solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
• Prohibited Content: You agree not to upload any images that are illegal, offensive, obscene, or infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. We reserve the right to cancel any order that violates these rules.

4. Product Appearance & Variations

Because every magnet is handmade, slight variations may occur. Additionally, please note that the colours of your printed magnets may differ slightly from what you see on your digital screen due to different monitor calibrations. Minor variations in print colour, alignment, and cropping are normal and do not constitute a defect.

5. Right of Withdrawal & Returns

As set out in our Refund Policy, and in accordance with Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to custom or personalised goods made to your specifications. For ready-made (non-custom) items, we offer a 30-day return window. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.

6. Statutory Warranty (Conformity of Goods)

Your purchase is protected by the statutory conformity warranty under Directive (EU) 2019/771 and Irish law. If a product you receive is defective or not as described, you have the right to request a repair, replacement, or refund.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the order giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability for death, personal injury, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish consumer law.

8. Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform, which can be accessed here: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We prefer to resolve any issues directly with you via email at hello@artymagnets.ie, but this platform is available for EU consumers.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence within the EU.
